INDIA has “Finally” found the right man for the job, to become the “New” WKF India President and licensed WKF International Promoter for the next 2 years, starting “IMMEDIATELY”!

WKF India President & WKF International Promoter Mr SHYAM PRITHVIRAJ

Meet Mr SHYAM PRITHVIRAJ – The “Man”, the “Future” of ALL Combat Sports in the great Country of India (Asia). Both he and his Team and his Committee at the International Combat Federation have joined forces to become a great force in the great Country of India to promote ALL styles of Combat Sports, such as Kickboxing, Boxing, MMA, Sanda/WuShu, Traditional Styles and All Forms, for all Amateurs and Professional fighters in India. With this great collaboration, it won’t be long before India will produce some of the World’s BEST fighters and showcase the hidden talent India has been hiding for many years.

Since 1998 Mr Prithviraj started his journey in Martial Arts training. Then in early 2000, he participated in Kyokushin Karate in State tournaments and also Kickboxing State Championships in India. In 2016, he started TROJANS fight Club, providing expertise training in both Karate and Kickboxing for over 1000 students, a phenomenal achievement for ONE Man. Many Students trained in TROJANS Fight Club to go on to become great National and International fighters to represent India.

In 2021, Mr Prithviraj then went on to work with the Amateur K1 Federation as District Secretary for 2 years, progressing in 2023 to then become the Executive Member of  Kozhikode District Amateur Kick boxing Association. In 2025, he climbed the Corporate ladder to then became the Vice President of a local Amateur Kickboxing Federation, eventually becoming Vice President of Kozhikode District Professional Boxing Association. In the same year, he was licensed to become a renowned Indian Boxing Council Promoter, then eventually became the Managing Director of the International Combat Federation (ICF).

But it wasn’t enough for Mr Prithviraj. He was climbing the Corporate ladder way too fast to just stop there. He wanted more, to give back to his fellow Countrymen of India. So he got in contact with WKF World Kickboxing Federation World CEO Mr Robert Wilesmith to work with a globally recognized Combat Sanctioning Body – the WKF. He was ready!

On 24th and 25th January 2026, Mr Prithviraj has planned an exciting “First” WKF INDIA NATIONAL OPEN KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS, in the beautiful City of KOZHIKODE (KARALA, INDIA) in Asia. The Venue, VK KRISHNA INDOOR STADIUM. This great Event hosts an array of Kickboxing Styles, including K1, Low-Kick, Full-Contact, Kick-Light and Point Fighting Kickboxing. Fighters from all over India will attend this great Event, in which it will host some of the finest Male and Female India Kickboxers.
