We are proud to announce that the WKF AFRICAN AMATEUR CONTINENTAL KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025 will take place from Thursday 29th May to Sunday 1st June 2025. The Winning Country to Host for the WKF African Kickboxing Championships is yet to be announced. Fighters from all Countries of Africa are preparing for their Country’s Glory, to fight for GOLD, in preparation for the lead up to the WKF World Amateur Championships in early October, 2025. FOUR (4) DAYS of Non-Stop Kickboxing Action. ALL African Countries haven’t had too much excitement in recent years with competing on big International Events, but we at WKF will bring Africa the BIG EVENTS!
WKF AFRICA CHAMPIONSHIPS PROMOTER: To be announced!
The Two Kickboxing Categories fought over the 4 days are:
- ARRIVE AT THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN AFRICA. (TBA).
- WKF INTERNATIONAL REFEREE/ JUDGE/TIME-KEEPER’S: – Day 1 – Thursday 29th May, 2025 (2pm – 6pm).
- WKF INTERNATIONAL REFEREE/ JUDGE/TIME-KEEPER’S: – Day 2 – Friday 29th May, 2025 (10am – 6pm).
- WKF AFRICAN CONGRESS WKF AFRICAN COUNTRY MEMBERS: Day 3 – Friday 30th May 2025 (7pm-9pm) Ceremony for the “Newly Appointed” WKF Africa Continental Director!
- WKF LOW-KICK KICKBOXING (Africa Championships): Day 4 – Saturday 31st May, 2025 (9.00am – 6.00pm).
- WKF K1 and MUAYTHAI KICKBOXING (African Championships): Day 5 – Sunday 1st June, 2025 (9.00am – 6.00pm).
ALL these great WKF African Championship Kickboxing Fights in Africa will be fought in a proper Professional Ring, not on Tatami Mats, have proper WKF Accredited Officials Refereeing and Judging these great fights. Many Countries have shown great interest in participating on this great Event, and we promise that this Event will showcase some of the BEST fighters Africa has.

- Teenagers Category should have reached 15 years but be less than 18 years on the FINAL DAY of Competition.
- Adults Category should have reached 18 years but be less than 35 years on the FINAL DAY of Competition.

- ALL International Teams will arrive in the African Country (TBA), either on Wednesday 28th or Thursday 29th May 2025 to “Check-In” to Hotel.
THURSDAY 29th MAY 2025 (HOTEL) ALL DAY:
- 8.00am – 10.00am: Breakfast in Breakfast Area at Hotel. Meet and Greet.
- 10.30am – 12 Noon: Professional Muaythai, K1, Low-Kick Kickboxing Session with former World Champion Robert Wilesmith.
- 12Noon – 1.00pm: Lunch.
- 1.00pm – 2.00pm: Registration for all Officials to participate in the WKF International Referee/Judges Diploma Course. COST: $100.00USD each Participant. Certification Awarded at completion
- 2.00pm – 6.00pm: Day 1 start for WKF International Referee/Judges Diploma Course.
- 6.30pm – 7.00pm: ‘WELCOME TO AFRICA CEREMONY” from WKF African Championships Host.
- 7.00pm – 9.00pm: WKF Africa Congress with WKF Countries Presidents, Representatives and Delegates Dinner.

- 9.30am: “Thank You” to our great Host WKF African Promoter and “Goodbye”.
- 10.00am: Check-Out and departure of ALL International Guests back to Countries of Origin.
- 10.30am: For those who are on later flights, see all the beautiful sights of Africa, experience the Culture of this great City.
- Various Times: Depart African International Airport, Fly back to your Countries.
“IMPORTANT NOTE”
FOR ALL FIGHTERS AND OFFICIALS VISITING TEAMS:
ALL Participants “MUST” have a completed Medical Clearance Certificate (Within 48 Hours of Event), along with completed Serology Blood Tests, to make sure that ALL Participants are SAFE and not in any harm whatsoever. (This is NOT NEGOTIABLE). Please Email WKF World Head Office for the Official Medical and Serology forms to send to you: admin@wkf.org.au
- A Medical Test from the attending Doctor at the WKF Africa Championships will also do a Medical Check at the Official Weigh-Ins.
- ALL Registrations on Friday 30th, Saturday 31st May, Sunday 1st June with Passport, Birth Certificate and passport Photo Identification (8.00am – 9.30am). Two (2) Passport Photos “Must” be brought to the Registrations, to add to your WKF Fighter Passport. (NO EXCEPTIONS)!
- Each Country representing Team “Must” bring One (1) Referee, One (1) Judge certified by the WKF World Kickboxing Federation.
- Each Fighter/Participant of the WKF AFRICA Championships 2025 “Must” register as a WKF Fighter/Participant before commencement of the Championships, and “Must” produce their registered Fighter/Participant certified WKF issued Passport and recent Passport Photo. The Cost to register for a WKF 12 Calendar Month Fighter License is $25.00USD . This is a 12 Month (Calendar Year) Fighter registration with the WKF World Head Office, to fight on “Any” Event throughout ALL 2025.
- Each Category entered cost is $25.00USD for the WKF AFRICA Championships. You as a Fighter can enter as many Categories as you wish (Same Weight Class), paid to the WKF World A1 Supervisor in attendance.
- ALL participating Referees and Judges will be paid $100.00USD per day, and provided with Lunch daily by the WKF African Promoter.
