AFGHANISTAN has “Finally” found the right man for the job, to become the “New” WKF Afghanistan President and licensed WKF International Promoter for the next 2 years, starting “IMMEDIATELY”!

Meet Mr SHIR MOHAMMAD HASHIMI – the “NEW” WKF AFGHANISTAN President and International licensed Promoter. He is the “Future” of ALL Combat Sports in the great Country of Afghanistan (Asia). Both he, his WKF Afghanistan Executive Team and his Committee at the Afghanistan Kickboxing Federation have joined forces to become a great force in Afghanistan, to promote ALL styles of Combat Sports, such as Kickboxing, Boxing, MMA, Sanda/WuShu, Traditional Styles and All Forms, for all Amateurs and Professional fighters in Afghanistan. With this great collaboration, it won’t be long before Afghanistan establishes some of the World’s BEST competition fighters, and showcase the hidden talent Afghanistan has been hiding for many years.
For many years, Mr Hashimi has been involved in Martial Arts training, starting the Afghanistan National Kickboxing Federation. Many Students trained with both he and other National Martial Artists, who have gone on to become great State and National fighters with the Afghanistan Country pride. In the past, it was difficult to find the right fit, working with the “Right” Global Sanctioning Body, but now registered with the WKF, it’s a HUGE step in the right direction for all Afghanistan and it’s sporting future.

Also joining his WKF Afghanistan Executive Team is Mr AHMAD HARIS NAYAB, who has just officially registered to become a WKF Afghanistan International licensed Promoter, to assist Mr Hashimi with promoting great WKF Kickboxing and MMA Events all over Afghanistan. But it wasn’t enough for Mr Prithviraj. He was climbing the Corporate ladder way too fast to just stop there. He wanted more, to give back to his fellow Countrymen of India. So he got in contact with WKF World Kickboxing Federation World CEO Mr Robert Wilesmith to work with a globally recognized Combat Sanctioning Body – the WKF. He was ready!
Soon in early 2026, Mr Hashimi and his WKF Afghanistan Executive Team are planning an exciting “First” WKF AFGHANISTAN NATIONAL OPEN KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS, in the beautiful City of Kabul, Afghanistan (Asia).
This great Event will host an array of Afghanistan’s great fighters, from beginners to advanced levels. The Fight Kickboxing categories include:
K1 Kickboxing- Muaythai Kickboxing
- Low-Kick Kickboxing
- Full-Contact Kickboxing
- Light-Contact Kickboxing
- Point-Fighting Kickboxing.
Fighters from all over Afghanistan will attend this great “First Ever” WKF Afghanistan Event, in which it will host some of the finest Male and Female Kickboxers. Also, surrounding Asia Countries are also invited to attend to compete for Pride and Glory too.
